You have to re-apply for tax credits they are yearly paid. Also is both your wages you get after tax or before tax??

I would try putting your figures into entitledto.com and see what they come up with.

Doubt if you'll get tax credits this year, but when baby is born, that may change. If you are intending to stay home for now, can you manage to pay bills and live for family of 4. Assuming you still have all of baby number ones equip, the outlay should not be so high this time. The day that baby 2 is born, apply for the extra child benefit. One child is £81.20 every 4 weeks, not £88. As the other person said go to the entitled to link on tax benefits tab up top of page and type in the now and the next years scenario and see what happens.
I have been crunching numbers with our income recently, due to illness and being off work and I worked out that earnings gross under £20k will get you approx £2k tax credit, but go over that and it drops to £545 ish. If you are below £17.6K income, you also get some working tax credit too. Of course if you can get the WTC, you get free prescriptions for all or part of meds as you'll get a card automatically. You may also get help with school meals and uniforms and if you qualify with 2 young children there may be help with cold weather payments. You may get help with council tax, always worth asking. First do the math, then see.

Don't forget the £100 p/wk disregard for SMP.
