Splitting Files

I have a Video file approx 100mb long and wish to split into 4 parts. (I only want the beginning and end parts)

What program (preferably free) will let me do this and then be able to play all 4 parts as single files if I chose too? (as HJ split doesn't let me do this unless i'm using it wrong)

Windows ME

drop the how to category box down, and look for edit wmv
