Okay british gas read on 22/2/2011 02700
    My reading on 07/11/2011 02944

Does that seem much? I am clueless.
    Many thanks

OK, so you have used 244 units in that period. Is your gas meter metric or imperial-it's marked on it (cu m or 100's cu ft)?. With that info you can convert and calculate if you have been billed the correct amount of kWh.

  • my meter is metric I believe (m3) marked on top.

So in that period you have used approx 2,772 kWh of gas at a cost of around £133. A tiny bill for 9 months use.
