Hi
could anyone tell me if I can use my credit card to put a deposit down on behalf of my parents they will be paying the rest on interest free, they have recently had trouble with a purchase ie going to court, they do not have a credit card and i thought next time round it would be better to have the credit card back up. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

If you pay on your card and anything goes wrong, your parents won't be covered by Section 75. You may be able to ask for a chargeback through Visa but as there is no debtor/creditor relationship even this might fail.0
