plastering thistle multi finish b&q and good??

hi
getting three rooms plastered in my house. i already got the rest of the house plastered i buy the material and just pay the plasterer labour. just wondering has anybody used thistle multi finish in b&q its half the price of the builders merchants.
has any plasterers used this and what do you think of it?

i would get it from wickes, they turn over more, so the plaster is "better" and wickes is the same price as b&q. Im a plasterer and i get all my plaster from wickes.0

You need to ask YOUR plasterer. If he turns round and says why did you buy that rubbish I'm not using it then there will be offence given to you. If he doesn't like it, thinks its carp but uses it anyway so as not to upset you there is scope for conflict down the track if it doesn't work out right.
So ask him and if he says its OK then go ahead. If he says no I'd rather you got brand "X" then you haven't wasted your money nor a trip to the shed.
Mind you for the price of the stuff heaven only knows why you aren't letting him get the gear in so he takes responsbility for the whole job which is much more sensible for both of you.
