    Sounds like you are getting the run around.

    You are right in trying to get the issue resolved. It may be worth getting an agreement in principle with a lender that leaves a soft footprint, to see if they come back with a decline. The benefit of a soft foot print is that it is only visible to you.

    Rates change regularly, so you may well find deals better one week but worse the next.
