Views on Rational kitchens

Our current kitchen was in situ when we moved to our house. It is about 15 years old and we want to modernize it. The units are by a German company called Rational.
Does anyone have a views on this company in terms of quality and value for money? What would be their equivalent amongst the UK manufactured kitchen units?

Rational is a German kitchen manufacturer which I believe is now Italian owned. I have heard that the kitchens are now made in Italy but I can't be sure of this. Rational were in financial difficulty couple of years ago but I hear this is now resolved. They are a good kitchen, pretty innovative design but rather expensive.
Dont think anything British made will match up in quality at that price level. Roundhouse is the only name that comes to mind that will offer comparable quality and innovation but I suspect you are looking for a lot more money.We’ve had to remove your signature.
