ebay question-what would you do?

There is an item for sale on ebay (furniture) I'd say the item is worth about £50 - £70.

Seller states cash on delivery, bidding starts at £0.99 and you are the only bidder.

Would you turn up at some ones house to collect this item and hand them just £0.99?:)

I hand them £1, and let them keep the penny.
  • I once won an item for 99p and then found that my PayPal payment was refunded and the seller refused to sell it to me for that price.
I left them big, fat, negative feedback!

As someone else has said, I'd not want the 1p change.
An item is only worth what someone's prepared to pay for it, if there were no other bids on the day it was worth 99p.
