Hi,
I had an offer to do a 0% Balance Transfer or Money Transfer for 12 months from Natwest. I took up the offer and even though I make payments over and above the minimum and on time I am being charged interest.
I have interest of £0.47 and £0.52 showing for consecutive months.
I don't understand it.Has someone had a similar experience?Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Check your T&Cs.
Do they charge interest on your balance transfer fee?
Posting the balances and rate quoted on the statement might help.0 -
Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. I have just come off the phone with them and yes the fee attracts interest. However they are going to reimburse the £0.52 because the first and second payments I made actually cleared the fee and the more than the minimum fee. I had to point out to them that payments had to go towards the most expensive first.

Thats naughty. They shouldn't be doing that.If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...:think:0

Sounds like some kind of trailing interest (on the BT fee). I have a Natwest card and I've had similar small amounts of interest after doing a BT, but never for more than two months.0
