Phone stolen abroad - claim on phone or travel insurance?

I got my brand new Iphone 4s stolen in Vegas and I'm not sure if I should claim on my phone insurance (£100 excess) or travel insurance (£50 excess).
There was some cash $110 taken too, so I'm thinking I go with travel insurance, I reported it to the police and got a crime number. I've got the Halifax ultimate reward current account, so my travel insurance and phone insurance are through that, but I don't want to be waiting for ages to get my phone replaced!
Anyone got any thoughts/ideas?

I have no idea to be honest, I'm abroad for another week and can't seem to find any details on the website. Tried ringing the company, but they don't open again until Monday.
O2 have sent a new sim to my home address, but I can't do anything until I get home tomorrow week.0 -
Your mobile phone insurance will limit the number of claims but the travel cover will not. Depending on the mobile phone insurer you might get a quicker replacement but the travel insurer will just give you the cost of replacing the phone0
