Where to hire a VW camper van for the day??

We would love a vintage VW camper van as our wedding transport but all the places I have contacted are quoting £400+!!! Does anyone know of anywhere I could get one for the day (July 2012)? Even to hire from a non-'wedding' company or private individual?
The wedding will be around Fermanagh/Tyrone/the border if that helps.
Thanks a mill in advance.

£400 for a "wedding car" sounds about right, even a bit on the cheaper side. I'd try and see if you can hire it but not mention wedding, you may get it slightly cheaper. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Hi there
if you look at the Northern Bus Owners Club website there will be a forum on there :
http://www.forum.nboc.co.uk/index.php
I am a member of the club and i am sure one of the other members who has a bus would help you out for a reasonable amount.
If it is of any use I have a 1969 white Beetle and I am based in Fermanagh.
Good Luck0 -
Thanks a million for all these suggestions!
eeeeeee - I love that Splitty camper on lazydays.ie, wish it wasn't green though! My mum considers green to be unlucky (??) and would probably freak out at the sight of it lol.
Belleek Beetle (fab name btw!) - wow, the NBOC looks great. It is our dream to own a classic VW someday, sigh!! I have just registered on the NBOC forum/site, how do I go about contacting them and making an enquiry? Do any of the members do wedding hire etc normally? I would be so chuffed to surprise OH with this, fingers crossed that I can sort something out!
Thanksxx
