Now heres an odd thing....
a couple of hours before this glitch appeared, I ordered a book for my nephew for christmas from sainsburysentertainment. it said despatch on 6th. then the glitch happened so i set up a completley new account and i re-ordered it along with dvds and books (hoping to return the one i paid for). however this morning i have had all my "out of stock" emails for the 10 free items....but also one for my first book that i paid cash for on my everyday sainsburys account. so have they sent EVERYONE (even normal customers) the out of stock emails until they can fix it? very strange. I will be complaining about the book though, seeing as they gave me a despatch date that's been and gone then sent me a cancellation. very bad customer service sainsburys.0 -

Just checked my emails and one of my DVDs has been dispatched !!!!!!!
My others all had dates fir the 12th so who knows about them

2 still say processing
And 1 says posted
And I only had the email about the one being despatched

Curiouser and curiouser - On the "my account" page I have 5 items which are still processing (1 book & 4 dvds) but I have received an email this morning stating that the book is out of stock; for the other 5 (2 dvds & 3 cds) that have moved into order history section with the status of cancelled, if you click on the view button for each it says they have been dispatched to my home address!?

sorry but does it say "despatched to home address" or just "delivered to: home". because the delivered to home bit is where they SHOULD have been going. the "home" is obviously the nickname you chose and its saying where you asked for it to go. I have had this on a previous order months ago and rang customer services arguing I had cancelled an order but it was saying despatched. HTH0 -

Ooh, and in the orders section I have 2 thomas the tank dvd's that say delivered to home!!!!

I placed three orders on three accounts between 8am and 9am yesterday - all were accepted at the time and "order received " e-mails were sent for each one. Every one of the orders has now disappeared completely from my three accounts! There is no trace of them at all! I haven't received any cancellation e-mails or out of stock e-mails either. Anyone else finding this?!0

Not happened to me but my friend who did it has had this. She signed up same time as me, about 2am, and got the confirmation email but nothing since and nothing in her sainsburys account. odd.0 -
Our online accounts are still showing as 7(me) and 9(DH) processing but DH just phoned said his email has been going mad with oos emails and I've just checked mine and have had oos emails for 3 books.

i placed 3 orders and have recieved 9 email for each order saying outof stock just rang sainsburys and spoke to customer services they are sending one item from each order untill new stock arrives lol0
