No, see in your link it says quickreg...that means registration page ( as does registration duh to me lol) it should say offer/673827 for example. it its the actual page you click through to.

So when you click your purple banner and it loads the page, copy the link thats in the address bar then. If that makes sense. lol

I refered my boyfriend to pigsback a coupke of weeks ago and he clicked the link through the email and registered, I watched him do it. He ordered his first voucher and I still haven't got the 500 points. Emailed pigsback and they say that he didn't register through the link so I cannot get the points!
I know this is rubbish, is there anything I can do?

I had this problem and had a prolonged email exchange with PB. They did credit me the 500 points in the end, although they are adament that there is no problem & the system is working properly.
My advice is make yourself a pain & dont give up

I'd like to congratulate Keelycat, but, without wanting to pour cold water on her moment of triumph, I'd like to repeat that it's not a good idea to publicise your name with your whereabouts on public fora like these.

We now have a full name and a town of residence. If there are any strange bods amongst us, it would not be difficult for them to find an exact address and a phone number.

Please, please, despite our understandable enthusiasm and excitement, let's not lose our grip on reality.

    Thanks for that.

No - or indeed the fact that PB itself says the winner is xyz from abc.

But people on here somehow, sometimes, feel that they are chatting with no-one but friends, and sometimes reveal other info about themselves, like their children's names and/or ages.

There are just a few strange minds at work out there, and one delusional reader who feels an attachment to one particular personality, or to one person's avatar/photo, or just likes the way a certain person writes, might make efforts to actually see that person in the flesh. That can turn into stalking, etc. The more detail you give, the easier it is for someone to find you. Using nothing more than ****.com, it is easy to find out where keelycat lives. It's publicly available, and no more commercial than the electoral roll, but, on the internet, no-one remembers people using such documents. There are no witnesses.

I don't want to be alarmist, and the chances of it happening are, of course, small, but you should not reveal personal info on public boards.

I think im going to complain to pigsback for putting my real name and location up on their site-ive never given out my surname, or personal details such as family names/ages etc...and i dont put a photo of me up on here either. im usually very carefull. i can do without the stress of someone stalking me.

I'm sure there's nothing to worry about, keelykat. It is very unlikely that any nasty person is likely to target you.

Forget about it, enjoy your family, enjoy PB, and have fun.

I don't think PB have done anything wrong in giving winners' names and locations. It's done all the time for comp winners by most companies. It's not normally a problem. It's just if someone gets a fixation on you (or anyone else) through getting to "know" you on message boards.

The vast, vast majority of people on here are normal, thoughtful, caring people. :A

    Hello,

Just wondering if anyone knows if you can use the same mobile number for two different accounts. My MIL and FIL have joined but they only have one phone between them.

    Thanks in advance,
