does anyone remember entering a competition with https://www.clubseason.co.uk (seasons holidays plc) with pigsback.
i got a letter today recorded delivery saying i have won a prize to the value of £3750 and asking me to ring a freephone number to claim it.
not sure if i should be excited or not (i can only vaguely remember entering) - long time till monday.
could it be a con?

not a con as such but as is the same as most of these places that offer timeshare at realy low prices there are a lot of "extras" they add on once you have it such as having to pay a yearly fee for maid service maintainace of the propety and gardens, insurance, and loads of other things. these all add up to quite a ammount each year.0 -

it wont have been through Pigsback...its a timeshare/vacation club company...they usually get your info from street surveys, or just junk mail saying "you have won a competition, please ring such and such number"..
Its not a prize, they will ask you to pay so much up front....a few hundred £££, they make it seem like you are getting a really cheap holiday, but once you are there you will be subjected to hard sell presentations to buy their product.0 -
Your (or anyones) CLC 'win' would of most likely come from MyOffers not PB.
They appear on the Prizefinder and Loquax forum with alarming frequency.

Then decide if you want to ring that number. I think you won't.

I'll let you know, Fit_Like. I'm going to call them on Monday (presuming I get time; I've got a busy day then and might not get around to doing it until Tuesday). Whatever happens, I'll post here with the resultI was cut out to be rich, but got sewn up wrong.0
