haha! yeah i know. Even if it wasn't up for its MOT i'd be getting it sorted. The knocking sound is a pain, as we've got loads of bl**dy speed humps around where we live, and pretty crap road surfaces, so it is persistent. I'll get a quote tomorrow for the job. Im sure it'll not be too harsh on the wallet!

tbh knocking over bumps and the like is normally the droplinks.. which are a piece of pee to do..

Funnily enough, my car just failed it's MOT for this exact thing - "offside & nearside rear sub-frame has excessive play in a pin/bush".
Cost about £100 (parts & labour, incl. VAT) to get both replaced (this included an anti roll bar link, whatever that is). I don't know whether that is cheap or expensive, but it's what I paid!0 -
