Has anyone used Alpha Rooms?

They have a really good price for the hotel we want to stay at in Portugal but I haven't heard of them/used them before.

I've only used them in this country. We found it was £5.00 cheaper to book directly to the hotel.

I used to think that booking directly thru the hotel was cheapest? HA! Hardly ever the case these days with all the discount places

Have you tried https://www.hotelclub.net and https://www.hotels.co.uk ?
Might find it cheaper there and those sites I have used both before

I've used them a few times for Spain and the Canaries. They used to be called Alphabeds. Never had any problems.

Do a search for the hotel you have in mind on https://www.hotelscomparison.com and see if anyone else has it cheaper than AlphaRooms.

I've booked through AlphaRooms before and not had any problems.

I've worked with them on an affiliate basis for a year or so now, and find them good people to work with. Seem a good, hard-working, honest outfit.
