ford fiesta 2007 . Cd player faulty , please help

Hi my cd player continually says CD error or plays back cd's crackly , altho sometimes during a long journey it miracoulsly works again , so im looking to replace , its a 6000CD , not 6000CD RDS which are the only ones i can find on ebay ('000s of them ) . Does anyone know if the 6000CD rds would be an EXACT fit or not , from what i can tell it for earlier fiestas ( up to 2002) but there are NO 6000CD players to be had , just 6000CD RDS . If its an exact fit then happy days , will just remove , plug in and away i go

Not looking very hard ? The older cd6000 with the narrower screen will not fit your car.

Dont they all have RDS? Display that shows the radio station name etc... is the RDS bit.

Just that some dont bother putting it as its standard.

No the older one wont fit..

for starters its smaller than the newer fiesta's cd player
2. the connectors in the newer fiesta are different to the 98-2002 one. the older on has 2 rectangular connectors the 2007 one has what is called a qaud block..

thanks mate i searched through pages upon pages on ebay but they were all 6000cd rds , and wont fit ! how did you search / find these , could do with some more links to see if i can get any cheaper ! cheers again
