I am assuming my earlier thread was deleted. No matter, just wanted to update it with a link to this nice article in the Mail about the court case. It has some good quotes from The Book - the training manual Reo gave to rep's to pressure sell mobility aids to the elderly.

"Disabled Ernest Watson, 82, spent three hours arguing with a salesman. At one stage he was so distraught – as the salesman sat in silence waiting for the deal to be agreed – he considered pressing the panic button at his warden-assisted flat in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Exhausted, he eventually parted with £2,000 for a massage chair."
"The court heard how one victim was called at least once every day for a fortnight until she finally agreed to buy a £4,500 massage chair."
Here is the article from the Daily Mirror showing how Reo were linked to other mobility companies.

These type of companies should be licensed as they are often selling to vulnerable people. There sadly little that can be done to stop these *!!! bags once back into the world to do it again0

how can a fellow person work for them...same league as beasts as far as i am concerned. It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
