Hi
My father in law just purchased a Fujitzo Siemens laptop from Staples and is having problems with using IE7.
It connects to the web okay to do updates etc but when you try and use the IE7 program already installed it freezes the computer and you need to Ctrl ALt Del to stop iexplore running to get the laptop working again.
I think it is a problem with the IE7 install. Can we simply reinstall IE7 from the windows download site to sort the problem out or do we need to try something else?

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 and restore Internet Explorer 6 when using Windows XP or Windows Server 2003
- Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Click Add or Remove Programs.
- Scroll down to Windows Internet Explorer 7, click it, and then click Change/Remove.
You can then re-install the ver 7 again, althogh reboot before you do
I have nothing better to do!!!!
