I think that may be a good idea and we can put the FB stuff to bed once and for all since it seems to have reared it's ugly head tonight!

Thats the bit that I reckon has caused all the ill feeling - 'the chance' to do what ? Surely that can only mean the chance to grab as much as possible? (and then think about sharing it with MSE)

the chance to post it if i ment the chance to grab it all i would have said that. this is getting old i have accepted responsibility for what i said, i have apologised for how it could have been seen and i have done this more than once. really please if were going to do this can we do it properly and quote the replies aswel.

You needed to be there at the time. Fortunately I was. It was hectic, the site had only just been set up and people were adding and sorting things all over the place, it really was a hive of activity.

It was my understanding at the time that lovecraftings remarks referred to having chance to do it, ie having time.

I'm not sure how they could be construed otherwise as at that time the FB group was free for anyone to join and had a membership of over 100.
