I got OOS e mail but no cancellation and order still shows 'processing'...so maybe there is still hope..:rotfl::rotfl:

I went to a store about 20 miles away on Saturday and managed to get my son some of the skull sleep pants for 4p each. Also got my brother 3 lots of branston beans as he and his family are really strapped for cash. Then this morning went to my local and got a coat and 3 jumpers for myself with double up vouchers -total cost 5 pounds! Feel really cheered up as have been staying Mum as my Dad died suddenly on the 22nd and luckily my sister is back today from Switzerland where she lives for 3 weeks so I can go home.

Just back from the local homeplus where they had the trays. Didnt get one as I didn't really need it and couldn't find any of the things I could have actually used. Had a browse on the winter coats, but there was nothing that took my fancy. Off to the superstore now, hope to have better luck there. Sadly no price check machines there, so no way of spotting a good bargain till you pay for it.

This is in Ch£lmsf°rd btw.

managed to get 4 of the 1p trays....2 4p handbags (i know someone on here got bags but wasnt sure of the details)...mens formal shirt -4p, mens playboy pink boxers 4p, Qualified Instructor PJs (top missing though!) 4p...and a new one (I think!).......2 pack of Mr Men socks 4p..barcode 5052320531943..marked SS11....hth...will try and load picks in a bit

I've never been really worried when shopping for bargains or even getting DTD...but I was shaking trying to get all this through the SS...managed to get it through and then scanned loads of Frootz just to clear the screen!!! Paid and tried to leg it...but tags set the alarm off....security lady checked the bags,took the tags off...alarm carried on going off....checked the PJs...carried on going off....eventually unzipped one of the bags and it had been filled with about 30 security tags!!!! She was more surprised than me! She apologised (lol)...took them away and even took the cardboard/paper filling as well!!! Excellent trip!!

Scanned both Lynx showergel....one came up as 2.37..the other at 52p....went and got 6 of the 52p ones....which then scanned at 2.37 at till!!! I think in all the excitement I might have picked the wrong ones up after all!!!


No dressing gowns, AW10 jeans scanning at correct price, no pantene, Rice Krispies and variety pack scanning at correct price....none of the correct Babyliss models either ....and I know theres another MSEr in there as all the things I was looking for had been 'previously looked at'if you know what I mean...all the jeans were awray, the dressing gowns all over the place...the scanner had several shavers and showergel dumped there along with womens tights and mens socks!!! So if it was you...please please please put the stuff back...we dont want them to turn the scanners off as this will make it harder work for everyone looking for bargains!!!

oh...and i found 2 of saturdays sun papers in a 'clearance' bin...so had a nosey and found 1 of the vouchers, so now have 2 to go and use when i have a look at the coats tomorrow!
