Yep, I spent too much time watching Roy Castle on record breakers!!
Lean pickings really with no 4p items and no whoopsies to speak of anywhere. I did manage to rescue quite a few of the aquadoodles though, both the night garden ones and the disney princess ones.0 -
Just come back from Ts and was quite surprised at what I saw at the till. The girl dropped my 50p coupon off one of the Colgate toothbrushes and it went under the till. Next to the till were photocopied sheets of the 4p finds. I was quite surprised because Tesco can't usually manage to correct their prices uniformly from one store to another from one day to the next, yet here in a few days was a comprehensive list of things to look out for going through the till.
I was chatting to the girl and said 'I would have thought Tesco would have given you proper work sheets of instructions for the till, and she replies, 'no, these came through the other day and have been issued to every till and we have all been instructed that we cannot sell the items on these sheets'.!
Been thinking about thisand wondering, the pics are one thing, but that actually takes staff to check items instore and items as they are delivered. But barcodes,a much easier task. That only takes one member of staff to update the entire t's system.
I know barcodes are really useful, but perhaps not providing the full barcode may slow them down a littleChelseaGirl wrote: »I still found some 4p scarves today, although the clothing department looked really tidy.
Staff had kindly restocked the 1p Strike-It magazines overnight, so I emptied the shelf of them again. Got enough for DS's footie team now.
This was in an Extra store, although I understand that the magazines are going through at full price in some Extras.
Checked in my extra this eve and scanned at £2.60My pc is playing up tonight it keeps crashingWhat were the barcodes for the winter-ish looking scarves please? The ones with the silver threading in are gorgeous as well though not seen them in my store!
The ones I posted?A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here

Evening all
Haven't been on much over the last day or so, been feeling rough (chest infection & sinusitis). I know there's no way I can catch up with the thread .
I did have to pop into T's yesterday morning for essentials but apart from a scarf (which still scanned at 4p & has already been posted), I didn't really scout around for much else, just wanted to get back home. I did have a quick look for the ITNG aquadraws as I would love a couple of those but I couldn't find any. Are they on clipstrips or on the shelves and are they in the toy aisles? If I'm feeling better and I get a chance I may have another look tomorrow
I'm not staying on here long as I already have withdrawal symptoms because I'm A Celebrity wasn't on last night  so I wanna be all comfy for when it comes on at 8.30
Anyway, hope everyone is well here, enjoy your evening everyone.:)
Mine were 68p too - did you scan today? Mine were a few days agoNo it was a couple of days ago. All th othre scanned at £3.50
ITNG Aquadoodles are in a variety of places. I have found them on the end on toy aisles and in those large cardboard displays some stores have got at the mo with lots of different toys in.
I think they have also been found in the stationary aisles.
They were 68p when I brought mine last wk, but posted, I think yesterday (tues), as now scanning at 6p.
I got some more yesterday for 6p and also disney princess ones for 13p.

Thank you
will check later if I can get to tesco if not tomorrow after Drs.
I have a bad sleep issue, no matter how long I sleep for I always feel tired, but I struggle to get to sleep and then struggle to get up, I also have a problem with my jaw and I have been given an occlusal plate to wear by the dentist has I have something called bruxism, she told me at yesterdays appointment most people with bruxism suffer with sleep disorders! Oh great only been suffering for about 10 years! So have to go to the dr to see if he can do anything to help!Im the same with my sleep although i do think my working hours contribute to mine. I'm also much worse around that time of the month
I figured it must be some form of anemia and have been taking multivitamins when i remember to
Let me know what they say! hope they can help because i know how frustrating it is. i've gotten really clumsy when i wake up. tripping over and such.. thank heavens the kids walk down stairs by themselves!
I know exactly where your both coming from, I'm constantly exhausted
I've had a sleep problem for years, but got worse as I got older and it's worse when I'm stressed.
My problem is not getting to sleep, it's the quality of sleep I have as I suffer from night terrors where I move around and shout out whilst i'm sleeping. I also often grind my teeth and wake up with a stinking headache.
I'm almost impossible to wake in the mornings as I never get a restful nights sleep and will often sleep through multiple alarms.
I also wake up feeling really drowsy and confused, which my doctor calls morning drunkiness (if only that was actually from alcohol :rotfl:)
I also doze off at the drop of a hat, which my OH calls my feet off the floor syndrome as I'm fine when I'm doing things, but once I sit down, i'm usually asleep within an hour
I finally got sent to a sleep clinic earlier this year and underwent a nightime sleep study and then a daytime nap test.
I did not look a pretty picture with loads of wires and sticky pads attached to me :rotfl:
But I did finally get a diagnosis of Idiopathic Hypersomnia and Slow wave arousal disorder (SWAD) and am just trying to work the meds out at the mo to find the best combination, to firstly make me sleep properly and then to wake me back up again
And on that note, I am sloping into bed now
