ok can i ask a question

those peeps that put their receipts into the pricecheck thing for the foxes biscuits, haven't your recipts got overcharge written all over them??
and if they haven't aren't you better off going for a golden??

    or both lol?!

i haven't pricechecked reciepts for ages, i will womble the odd one then they'l sit in my handbag with the rest of my cr*p until after the 28days has expired,

are they still asking to see receipts when you use the vouchers?

I pricechecked my receipt after getting two tins last night and got the results back this morning. Worked out over all shopping would have been checper at asda by £7.81 i think it was.

Nothing written on my receipt, but not going to take them back as they are for christmas :P :xmastree::xmassmile:rudolf::snow_laug:snow_grin :xmassign:

I'm SO excited for Christmas! xx

ok i need some ideas off topic

kids have to dress up as characters out of a book for children in need
i refuse to spend money on it, my stupid school has these dress up days at least once every half term, last time it was dress like a film character, then it was drss like a victorian.......and the other mums take it so seriously-they compete to see who can buy the best most expensive outfit......yes my kids are precious but c'mon:mad:
so one of my boys will be a pirate for the millionth time and the other says he'll just wear his spiderman /batman t shirt (comic are near enough books aren't they?) and DD has a white blouse so will be snow white, am i the meanest tightest mum ever or what

oooooooh just had an idea:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j.......reaches for OH's credit card:T:T:T:T:j:j:j:j

No you are just a normal mum like the rest of us. ;) It was always last minute in our house when DDs were younger. Pair of fairy wings made out of a metal coat hanger and some sparkly material one year, but can't for the life of me remember which book. Not any good for DSs though. And again can't remember which books but DDs were often quite happy to wear jeans, the right colour t shirt and plait their hair for some characters out of their books so I was probably the tightest mum ever. But they were happy enough and it is their imaginations that are supposed to be being stretched not ours or our budgets! :rotfl:

How is your mum Celebrate, hope she is doing ok.

Good luck! I will spread my Job luck with you! I hope the job fairy, sprinkles her fairy dust over you :D:D

Just got back from T's now:D Missed imaceleb, but we recorded it so just put it on now:)...
Got three of the 4p bug raincoats finally :D
    - Found the matching wellies underneath, right at the back, different from all the others, just wondered if anyone knew these were 4p too? :D

Got a £7.83 JTD voucher from the biscuits this morning aswell as a £10 giftcard from HO when i was refused DTD on the biscuits last night. So thats £20 back, two tins of biscuits and a £7.83 JTD :D

    x

ok i really don't get this, how come you guys get you overcharge gift cards so quick from HO???:(:(:(:(

why has it taken the troll of a CS at HO 5 days to sort out my DTD from the gift sets on friday???

CS at HO rang the store concerned and the manager confirmed should have been 342 then she told me to go to the store -when i said it was too far she offered me JTD (cheeky c*w) so i asked what about overcharge she said she had no way of proving what i bought and how many and i had to explain to her that she could use my receipt details to confirm my transaction-which she went and put in the flamin pricechecker, said she would ring me back.....nothing, rang today and apparently she is off and because she has started the case no-one else is allowed to comment or take over....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    i am fuming!!!
Any advice on whether i should explode when i next talk to her when she's is back from her days off:mad::mad:

    Hi nikki,

You are doing so well with not smoking, don't let the stress of organising the party make you give in. ;)

I always think there is nothing like a party to get the house organised it seems to spur me into action with energy I never knew I had. :D Don't forget we all want a picture of the cake. :) And I'm sure we will all be having a vodka to raise a toast to your DS on his 18th, not sure about the skittles though. ;)

A really really dedicated MSEer would also have Superdrug & Boots bags and Bodyshop and M & S wine boxes too. :o:o:o

Yes think I have said before I'm in Poole, I guess by using the store names it's not so obvious. I do go over to Bournemouth too like MKS had some really good finds over there like my trekking poles for when we go camping in the Purbecks in the summer. We go for lots of hilly walks and when it's wet coming down them can be a bit unsteady. Many a muddy behind! ;)

The other year after it had rained a lot, we followed loads of them walking down from Old Harry! Not steep but very slippery!

she popped in the other night when my online order came, we had about 20 bottles of fresh orange and 6 big 4 pints of milk strewn across the kitchen floor, she just held her head in her hands and said "so you've got the glitches coming to you now?" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

while its quiet on the glitch front can some one explain to me how to post a pic please,

in simplest terms please, when we watch simpsons and homer does something dumb my kids always look at me

I think you have to go on Photobucket, upload your picture there and it will give you a URL to paste here. I haven't done it in a while so can't remember exactly but it's something like that!
