Thanks for remembering them..... I was gonna mention them, but as there is STILL no news i thought I would wait......

I so can't believe her.... I took her in on 30th or 31st August, so it was probably that night the deed happened. She is not in any pain or distress, just sitting here, very podgy and looking up at us meowing everynow and again looking MORE than fed up..... but is purring quite the thing when she gets a tickle! I don't realy want to put her through the distress of a trip to the vets when she is still quite calm.....

.....any advice from someone who might know more than me..... just how long overdue is TOO long???

in my experience, i would just wait, they will come when they are ready... you will know when she is ready as she will more than likely go hide away somewhere.... do you have somewhere quiet and hidden and cosy and warm where she can go?? - this might help hurry things along a bit...

best thing to do with cats is just leave them to it... if she is happy, i wouldnt worry..... if you can have a feel of her tummy (if she will let you) you cans sometimes feel the kittens moving around in there... if she is meowing, she is prob just uncomfortable more than anything.

    xx

    Morning all,

Good luck nikki with the not smoking, Caz2703 hope you feel better soon you are really going through the wars as my mum would say, Sunshine hope all is well.

I really want some Kellogs but scanned full price in one extra and not even a sign that they ever sold it in the other. Is this one of those store specifics does anyone know? TIA

Also keep a look out for any ladies jeans that say "Superskinny" and SS11, various shades of blue denmin and one khaki I managed to get. I'm sure I did post on the other thread that they were going through 4p but think it may have got lost in all the banter. So it's not just mens to be found. Also ladies blue cargo skinny style AW10 navy blue 4p but the grey and black are not HTHs.

    Bye for now.

We've always had cats but never experienced a pregnant cat. Maybe you could ring the vets just to check out what you should be looking for in case of a problem. Hope all goes well

How do I know my cat is going into labour?
    • Below are some indicators that labour is imminent.
    • The mammary glands increase in size during the last week of gestation.
    • Around two days before the queen gives birth she will start producing milk.
    • She may start nesting.
    • A day or two before birth, her temperature drops to 99F.
    • Change in behaviour. During the last week or so your queen may become either reclusive & seek out a secluded place or she may become more affectionate, especially if she is particularly bonded to one carer.
    • Restlessness & pacing.
    • Frequent trips to the nest.
    • Licking at the genitalia frequently
    What happens during labour?

During the last week of pregnancy, the kittening box should be placed in a warm, quiet, draft free room which is off limit to children & other pets. She should be encouraged to sleep in this box.
Obviously, food, water & a litter tray also need to be placed in this room.
The kittening box can be lined with old newspapers which can easily be changed or an old blanket. Make sure that the blanket isn't going to snag the kitten's claws. The bedding should be changed regularly.

    Resumption of labour:

Once the kitten is cleaned up, the queen will push it towards a nipple. Contractions will resume & delivery of the next kitten will usually happen between ten minutes up to an hour after delivery of the previous kitten.
All in all, it may take up to 6 hours to deliver a litter of kittens.
    Interrupted labour:

It should be noted that there can be a significant gap between kitten deliveries. This is known as interrupted labour. The queen will cease straining & attend to the kittens she has delivered by cleaning & nursing them, she may eat some food if it is offered & will appear to have completed labour. After a period of rest (interrupted labour may last as long as 24-36 hours), labour will resume & the rest of the litter will be delivered. It would be worth speaking to your vet if no kittens have been delivered in 4 hours & you suspect your queen may have gone into interrupted labour.

Hi, I'm usually a lurker as I never get any DTD, but got one on the Coats for £20 today. They had a limited edition camel coloured shawl collared, double breasted ladies coat originally £50 and it still scanned at £50 so I got (After a lot of arguing) £60 DTD back. Barcode is ending 452330
Also the Light Strikes still stickered at £30 but going through at £60 so I got £60 DTD for those as well. Bar Code ending 13480. This was in the Blackpool store.

I got this coat with the 2 x £10 online vouchers last week. Very nice it is too :)
  • No Mr T's for me until tonight, I have the pleasure of the dentist this afternoon, which is bad enough on it's own, but my DD who is 21 months is also coming along for her first appointement, should be fun and games :rotfl:

Had to laugh when I was in yesterday they had loads of signs on products that are on offfer saying OFFER ENDS TUESDAY! Couldn't decide if that was for their benefit or ours! :rotfl:

Got my eye on some 4p boxers tonight, hoping there aren't too many trouts about and I can sneak through ;):D

Hope you're all having a good day :D

I'm an avid reader but don't post much as I rarely seem to find anything to shout about. All Mr T's near me are pretty poop and have no scanners so today or tomorrow I'm travelling to a store where there is one. Fingers crossed I can find things off my list and something new I can share with you all. Thanks for all that take time to post.
