Thank-you, although I'm afraid I can't take the credit as it's thanks to a bit of Hob-Brite and little bit of elbow grease from OH :o

You can get a copy of the receipt if you know what time and date and what till you went to within 7 days (i think)
but they said if you get a copy of a receipt, you cant use it for JTD price checker :(
If its on the same day, they can go on the same machine and go in the previous transactions.

Good job it wasnt more than £5 in the receipt i lost
update from me. i phoned head office and a lovely lady put me through to the store manager who took my club card details and what items were on the reciept. then he called me back 15 mins later ans said he found my reciept can i come and collect it or do you want me to post it? i was in that car quicker than you can say sainsburys :p

got my photocopy reciept. now its in the pricechecker.
    one happy bunny here.

p.s for all those worried about the frog, i put him by a riverbank. and hope he/she will be happy there. told the cat off as well. but being a boy cat he wont listen :o

  • Does anyone know a good recipe for chilli that I can do in my slow cooker? I like my chilli, chilli, if you know what I mean?

My chilli isn't in the slow cooker but my fave quick recipe:

    1 onion
1 pack minced beef (400-500g depending where you buy it!)
    1 Tbsp flour
1 tin Tesco kidney beans in chilli sauce
    1 (400g) tin chopped tomatoes
    Cumin to taste 1 Tsp?
    Tabasco to taste

Fry onion until soft, add mince and brown a little, add the flour and fry until flour is no longer visable. Add kidney beans and chopped toms. Add maybe 1 tsp of ground cumin and shake in a little tabasco, depending how hot you like it! The tesco kidney beans in chilli make quite a mild chilli on their own.

HTH! Having it for dinner tonight
