Hi qpr10 got the original recipe for the granny cake in an old book, I think it was a stork margarine or something like that, about 1960 edition!!!
I got it from a jumble and it got really tatty and someone chucked it out (not me, him probably).
He always mentions it like I did it to save baking any more, but it really wasn,t me.

Cant remember if it was a hauk but I think they scanned at about £26 last time I checked one.
Dont usually go to clee, over an hour each way on the bus and I never seem to find anything.
