The 4p handbag in question was a large grey leather look handbag with silver studs on it and a chain handle in addition to leather look handle (kind of together). They had a whole rack but I had already picked up 2 of these in the £1 sale, so decided to point my friend in the right direction.

I actually managed to get 5 different hand bags in the £1 sale and 4 different ones for 4p, also found another 2 for 4p, but one was quite damaged and the other I didn't fancy, so left it for someone else. And I have now found 3 different purses for 4p. All of these bar one handbag, were actually priced at full price and on the normal racks.

Originally I just looked for any handbag that looked out of place or there was very few of out. That's how I got my £1 ones. Then I realised when items were going down to 4p that some of the £1 ones were still on the racks, so I checked these too and :j 4p each.

I got brown bag with tassels and clasp close
    Small beige handbag
    Grey studded bag
Dark brown handbag with twist lock close
    Red Handbag
Beige snakeskin duffle type bag (same as black one currently instore)
Dark brown suede with fringe of tassels
    Large black sequined bag
Black leather wallet purse (same as shiny and snakeskin ones instore now, but this is matt leather), priced at £5
small fabric purses in black and green with pink flowers on them, priced at £2.50

Sorry I am rubbish with descriptions of handbags :o but all the bags I brought have AW10 on the barcodes and I got a different one a couple of nights ago, from a store that def didn't have it before, so they are still out there.

I will try and post some of the barcodes sometime tomorrow, but OH asleep now and he won't thank me for rustling carrier bags to get to them.

sorry for the long post and hth:)

Thank you, was planning on going early tomorrow but think I might have to change my plans. Tried to go to sleep 3 times now first twice OH snoring so much I countn't sleep so got up 3rd time his Best mate started phoning, think he's had a bust up with the mrs and is now on his way round to our house:eek: so don't think I'll be up to early. :(

Will defo have a look out for the handbags, a girl can never have too many :rotfl: (although OH may disagree:p)

A heads up with regards to the 'Light Strike Twin Pack' toy that has been mentioned on here as a DTD item.
Just checking on Mr T website, it is priced at £30 now (from £60). Don't know if this will be the instore price now as well?

It was that price earlier yesterday (before I got my DTD) so no guarantee that they will be £30 tomorrow but worth bearing in mind.

Direct is often different to instore

Possible thing to look out for this week: the leaf trays which have been reduced to 1p (for those lucky enough to find them), have table mats to match in my store, currently scanning at £6 (I think) per pack. I suspect (as they are the same design) these could be on the horizon for a reduction, usually things in the same range all go around the same time. Not going to t's until this evening, but will be keeping an eye on these each day, just in case.

There's a 'wipe clean' table cloth to match too but no price scanner at my store so couldn't check it.
