  • Just back from Tesco. I saw a lady pick up one of the jumpers with a little skirt attached, I think it was brown with a leopard print skirt. She scanned it and said, "4p...that can't be right. The scanner must be broken. Oh look it's got £10 written on the label, that's more like it". Then she put it in her trolley.
I picked up a pair of 4p shoes.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Ggrrr. Just went to Birmingham Springhill store and found a massive hoard of every type of 4p tights mentioned to date. Every single pack would not go through self serve tills.

Looks like that is why there was such a massive amount still available.

OH was soooooo embarrassed as I split the stash between us and we both got the same result. Aaargh. I was told off for wasting an hour!!!

    :(
Welcome back, nice to see you :D:D

    I got smarties..

I'm feeling left out, I don't have anything. Although I did find a toblerone bar, not very well hidden by HC.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I didn't mean to upset anyone, just stating what i've heard. I'm not daft and I know they've been looking on this site before now. I agree, let the chat continue. the more the better. :T:T

2 of the best posts on here today. I'll leave the marital problems one for now but seeing as it's coming into winter (or at least it is over here), how's about some winter warming recipes? I have a lovely slow cooker sitting but I'm scared to use it in case I set the house on fire. I also have some nice recipes that I think could be used in a slow cooker but don't know what changes need to be made.

Thanks & I forgot the bit about the price check website that sees if it was cheaper in Asda, they are 4 days behind & when you do the the results most of the stuff they claim is not applicable. Tennis Balls

I'm a bit scared of leaving any appliance on when I go out now, I had a rather unfortunate incident with my previous bread machine.

I was carefully loading it with the ingredients & must have got interupted & put the water in twice.

When I came home there was a smell of burning the bread had risen & erupted like a volcano all over the top and down into the electrical element between the casing & the bread pan. Had to buy a new bread machine lucky I didn't have to buy a new house, a few hours more and I may have.
