handed to them on a plate! .... at least here it would take 2-3 hours to get through all the banter, karlies pics, calander shots etc before actually coming across a picture WITH a barcode attached! Don't think Mr T would pay someone to sit on the computer all day laughing at our antics but to just download and print this mysterious "grabbit file" from facebook seems to have got them moving!!
    I quite agree!!

I agree with you Artha. Initially it was to make things easier for those who regularly contributed but then there was a bun fight with numerous old & new users complaining that it was some sort of clique so I think the admin were forced to allow new users in to pacify those who were stirring it up.

Unfortunately the FB thing has turned into a farce because of a few. It could have been good but alas those that complained have won. Bravo. I'm just sorry that those who spent the time and effort creating & setting up the page have been left in this position.

Well maybe instead of just running off and creating a monster, they could have discussed it on here first and got some ground rules and membership criteria in place BEFORE setting it up!

The night 2 admins resigned, someone volunteered to be admin and nikki said ok done and 2 mins later they are admin! That person had ONE (yes ONE) MSE post to their name at that point! UNBELIEVABLE!

    Damage is already done anyway.

Hi, just got back from my local store. There is a friendly customer sa that I helped during dtd, and with coupons, (yes I know it was a risk at first, but I've done it for about 6 years and she's proved invaluable at times), and she called me over on my way in to warn me that 'the management' were checking all the old stock for misprices, cos items were going through the tills at silly prices. She said that they had got hold of a list, with pictures of the items from somewhere.
Now I haven't joined or commented before on the f/book thingy, but it is the only place that a comprehensive list, with piccys, is available, afaik. It seems to me that it has been made very easy for 'them' to access the details. The internet is anonymous up to a point, and anyone who is a 'spy' for 'them' could be on here under any username they choose, be a member that meets the f/book joining criteria, and joins the facebook group by setting up an account in that username. As one never knows who people are, or what their motives are it is best I have found, to be very careful.
It would be such a shame for us to lose all the valuable info everyone generates here, and I hate to read all the upset that has been caused.
T will continue to make mistakes to our advantage, let's not make it easy for them to rectify those mistakes before we've all had a good crack of the whip.
There, I've had my say, and hope I don't get flamed for it.

On another note, I got a small dtd yesterday. T own microwave veg bags containing sweetcorn, spinach, peas and broccoli had a white sel for 64p. I bought two, and they scanned at £1.45. Dtd of £3.24. Sorry no barcode as I take the four bags out of the big bag so I can squeeze them into my well stuffed freezer, and the bin men came this morning.

I don't think it's fair to apportion blame. Everyone makes mistakes. It's not the end of the world.
