By putting it all neatly in one place, has no one had the brains to think that by doing this you have not only made it easier for the lurkers [ as you call them] but also for anyone at tescos to see.Looks to me like you are shooting yourself in the foot
You seem to be refering to ME as though I was the one that Started this facebook thing??.... well, nope it wasnt me, but yes i am a member....
i dont see anywhere in my post where i have called anyone a lurker........ I personally find it easier to have everything in one place..... so its easier for me..... if others come across it, and find it easier too... then surely thats good.
im not into stopping people from getting the bargains.... wether they are a 'lurker' or no 'lurker' - we were all newbies at one point, and all after the same thing.
And i think its a little Nieve (sp?) to think that Ts are 'onto us' - as im sure they are very much aware of the majority of reductions that are about.... irregardless of Facebook, MSE or any other millions of bargain pages that are on the internet.Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -

No DVD Players.
But I did manage to get Energizer Pocket Light torch (1 blue, 1 red) for 54p each. Will be useful to keep in the car glovebox. They were on their own stand which said 'half price' but there were no SELs. Quite a few left on the stand.
I also managed to get Strike-It Magazine (Issue 3). They scanned at 1p. Scans at full price (£2.60) in 'normal' Tesco stores. Haven't tried it in Express or Metro. Got one for my DS and a couple more for his footie team - Tesco usually restock, so I usually get enough for all the team.
That was all I had time to look for today. Had DD with me. She is recovering from a tummy bug and will hopefully be well enough to be back at school tomorrow. She was at that stage where she had ants in her pants and wanted to go out, so being the wonderful Mum I am, I took her to Tescos!
Hmm, well she soon got fed up with me scanning random things and putting them back on the shelf, and suddenly had a 'relapse' - which now means she is busy playing with Barbie's in the lounge. Bet she won't moan that she's bored again for a while!:rotfl:
Haven't had the chance to read back yet, so apologies if anyone has already posted about the magazines.
Hope you're all having a good day. x0 -
I have to agree candy, loads of newbies have suddenly come of the woodwork and have been added without a 2nd thought, someone also mentioned yesterday that a couple of trouts at their store had been talking about it, so all in all not much good has come of it.
So what if loads of Newbies have come out of the woodwork??? - Surely everyone is welcome?????!!!!!Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -

I used the self scanner in store and they scanned at £44 for the dvd player.0 -
