Worth while trip. Got some ood sels on gift sets sel said £2.50 charged £8 £11 dtd per set paid to take away. Shared the love and kowledge with a lil o lady who thanked me rig in front of trout for pointing it out to her!

everything else seemed 2 scan correct price there was a spray conditioner that scanned less than half sel price but didnt see which one it was.

gift sets was half price nearly missed them, thanks 2 who posted that.

QPR10 - any chance of a new thread for new beginnings? I will take the advice of the PM from mods on board but it might be an idea to start afresh and stop all the quoting of posts just to keep the bun fight going.

P.S. I'd start it but doubt that would go down well.

i dont know wether to be insulted or pleased, my avon lady just told me that with the ammount i order each month i could do avon myself and get commision. granted i do spend alot on it but really..enough for commision / can i really be bothered with that


i have decided the dvd players wont be in my local so have sent DH instead i really dont feel like going out today

They then called tbe duty manager who happened to be a young male assistant who had been stood right by thd shelf when I picked them up and he confirmed they were 1.25. So then the head of that section came over and said they had been withdrawn for technical reasons.
Anyway they refused to sell them to me but as one had been scanned I insisted on having that one even though it was 5.99.
I was really annoyed as it was pretty obvious the staff were annoyed that they did not get any so they decided to withdraw them. I am going to write an email to head office later.
So then onto wilmslow Handford extra where I got 6 1p leaf trays, 3 lots of 92p kitchen roll and some lovely cheap towels. Paid with a dtd voucher for 20 so a nice cheap shop. We loaded the car and thdn dd called and said could we give another girl a lift back to Bristol so we were like sardines as I only have a Nissan Micra.
However a successfull day.

I still haven't had anything back so I've just phoned the Helpline. They assure me that they haven't stopped the scheme and that there is a known problem with the system. He said they are working on it and the vouchers etc will eventually be issued. Seems to me they aren't 'working on it' with very much enthusiasm or urgency!
