Got my first 4p item tonight the grey bg with studs on, was well pleased. Think my hubby got the bug as he offered to take me to another store which is highly unusual as he hates shopping. Managed to pick up 3 1p leaf trays
Now sat here thinking about venturing out to look for dvd player to go or not to go ............I'm not really a new user, just wanted a new username
Baby on board, due 06/03/20120 -
There may be lurkers, but theres also some bl00dy nice people - so I think I'm staying right here
Some lurkers might be nice too, I'm sure you didn't mean that they aren't. I for one consider myself a half lurker/contributer. If I am lucky enough to find a bargain/glitch I will gladly share. I will also gladly share instore with anyone that doesn't think I am nuts when I explain a glitch!
I for one don't blame people for not saying hi everyday. And then there's the people that post and prob don't even get noticed, so feel invisible and end up in the background.
Loving the pics Karlie, trying not to laugh out loud while OH is watching carp on TV.
Well done to all that have quit smoking. Wish my OH would quit as he makes me cold when he gets up for a puff at the back door. Can I please get a congratulations for having never smoked?
Incase anyone does remember me, my little ones injections went fine, forgotten after five minutes and she is her normal getting into everything self. Note to self, really need some cupboard catches. Goodnight all x0 -
A few yeaar back my DD thought i was "santa's little helper" and worked with the elves as i worked a lot of night shifts for xmas parties (silver service, bars etc) so i would bring in little things from xmas crackers and tell her the elves gave me it for her , lately i have been doing long shifts again this time in T's and i remembered my lil nickname
as for those biccies enjoy an extra one for me,I have avoided them i need to stick to the diet i want to be at target for xmas and posh biccies may be too tempting lol

Certainly seems the Glasgow contingent is growing. We've probably walked past each other without knowing, I'm sure... And yet despite all our joint efforts the trouts apparently remain as stubborn as can be!

We all start as Lurkers!
I don't think they're nasty - theres undoubtedly lots of shy people who'd rather read than talk... I mean the ones that are only in it to clear the shelves. Maybe Lurkers isn't a good name for them?
Glad to hear your LO's injections went well, if you're at all like me, I bet you were more upset about it than her! They soon forget all about it x0 -

During the custard glitch I saw a little old lady taking a tetra pack of custard so I told her she'd be getting 3 tubs of it for free instead. I watched her debate putting 3 in the trolley then had to practically beg her to take another 3! I'm sure she thought I was mad but hopefully she had a smile on her face when she saw her receipt.
I also told an old lady tonight about DTD. She'd had an item double scanned so I told her that she'd get the one she did buy for free after DTD. She played her part well at CS when the NAT (Not A Trout) said she'd be getting DTD. She acted surprised then turned round, winked and said "god, you were right"! The NAT was having a hard day god love him as the queue was massive and managers were ignoring the pages to the CS desk. He didn't even check the SEL for my DTD so may have a looksee tomorrow
And glad to hear the injections went well. I remember my eldest getting his last jabs. He screamed the place down but by the time we were leaving the doctors room he'd forgotten all about it and even said "bye bye" to the doc. Bless him!0
