no i have not been to stockton for a while if you want the bedrails they seem to have plenty at coulby newham they fill the shelves every day
but my finds of late are casserole dishes in eaglescliffe
sharpie pens for a pound in eaglescliffe and coulby newham
yes artha i struck gold with the power tools in stockton but that was over 4 or 5 visits so gave plenty of time for other msers to grab them
ingleby barwick is my home store but sadly not many bargains as only a small mr ts
Nice to see someone else local posting:)
Thanks for the bed rails but I've no use for them and don't know anyone else that would benefit. Perhaps someone else local will see it and benefit:D(and hopefully start posting:))
As for the power tools perhaps I've misjudged you:o sorry if that's the case. I'd posted on here to vent my frustration about having seen it posted and going down an hour later to see someone guarding a large pile of the reduced drills, saws etc in the middle of the aisle while a SA was arriving with a big trolley to help them load up. In reply to my subsequent post you appeared to own up to be that person. Never mind, life goes on:cool:
On the subject of stationary my OH went to Eaglescliffe today and got a few pentel fibre tip pens for SEL 43p for two(£3-£4 in extras and for the benefit of others this is a 56p Pucka Pad type store so is is very seasonal)
I noticed that you had a bit of a ruck on here a while ago and left in a bit of a huff(insults flying left right and centre if I remember:)). Glad to see you back. Sticks and stones etc. After all we are adults and should take the rough with the smooth for the common goal.
And remember, keeeep posting!Awaiting a new sig0 -

That's ok, the list is a great help and any pics will be just be a bonus
Will def be adding the ben10 and other dress-up outfits to my list as friends DS loves Ben 10 and loves to dress-up so would make great xmas pressies for him to add to the stig outfit I already managed to get, thanks :TA clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here

Just Googled this and got the following info from the BBC News site ...

Mine are BB Jan 2013 ... phew!
You're in luck nobody sneezed in your jar...despite how korma looks! :rotfl:0 -

No, dont hold it, cos I have a life. I am absolutely sick of everyone trying to do things properly on the facebook site. There are posts after posts of 'make sure MSE knows, Make sure MSE is updated, and posters are posting here then Facebook. We are overly paranoid about making sure Facebook is an addition to MSE. I'm tired of being slated for it now
Don't worry about:cool: I'm sure you're doing a great job for those who want the FB annex. Probably won't use it myself as I'm not interested in pics of 4p clothes etc but can't see any harm in it. In fact, with the fear of the great, unselfish work done by the dedicated few dissappearing to FB there seems to be a lot of nice lurkers coming out;)Awaiting a new sig0 -
Free Chicken Breast from recent glitch
Maris Piper potatoes Whoopsied 17p bag
Finest Peas & Beans & Petit Pois in Mint & Chive Butter Whoopsied 58p
(rest of all of above for tea tomorrow)
Free Diet Pepsi swapped for box of shreddies with friend as her OH bought 6 Diet & only drinks Coke
Dessert- Whoopsied crunchie Ice Cream Lolly & pot of Ambosia choc custard
All to celebrate my DTD item that I took back for a refund
Can anyone beat that for a MSE meal ?
Not entirely Tesco related but a couple of weeks ago me and the boyf had free sandwiches from Greggs (newspaper vouchers) and free walkers crisps for lunch (used coupons), went to the cinema for free (free tickets with lovefilm trial) and then had free Pizza Hut pizzas for tea (from advert). The day was so much better knowing it was free! We actually snuck our sandwiches into the cinema to prevent us ruining our free day buying popcorn.:cool:0 -
also great for getting bugs off the front of your car - once got a runner up prize from simple baby wipes for that tip!
just opened a pack of blu tack and it has little extra uses all over the inside, one i have never thought of - it sayds it's good for cleaning your computer keyboard! anyone know if it works?
Wouldn't be at all surprised. On that theme do you know why play dough(predecesor of moon dough) was developed? It was to clean flock wallpaper:cool:Awaiting a new sig0 -

So I accepted the friends request, thanks LottieDottie, and now I wait for the invite, is that it? Thanksand also...HTML5? How Tesco Makes Love 5?

I come here to:
1) find / post bargains,
2) read all the funny HAPPY stories, that make me ROTFLMFAO, and spitting my drink across the keyboard.
If I wanted b!thching & backstabbing with an argument thrown in of he said she said, im leaving it was his / her fault etc etc, I would open my window and hang my head outside.
Please be nice to each other. It's hard enough keeping up on this hread without pages and pages of nonsense to trawl through.
I agree with being nice to each other but people being people will have different opinions on things and we have to accept that and hear all sides, weigh it up and then post constructively. You can argue without being offensive;).
You have posted what you want from the thread and I would respect that but it may not be what others want so I'm afraid we all have to accept that it is not a one size fits all. The only common ground is a desire to exploit glitches, misprices etc and save/make money and at the same time have our say on various issues whether they fit our own personal agendas or not:cool:Awaiting a new sig0
