Finally had some try by day pj's today and the skull pj bottoms 4p thanks to you guys.
Found a scanner at neath abbey by the changing roon hidden by men's clothing lucky my hubby got good
set of eyes on him
Must have scanned 50 other items but nothing else there for 4p.
Really happy with the pj's so result0 -
Damn, just got back from Tesco on the hunt for 4p items as I have only just cottoned on that they are about. I thought I'd just scan a load of random reduced stuff at the price checker but when I got there there was so much reduced stuff it was a bit overwhelming! So scanned a few random things, mostly mens pants and socks and nothing came up as 4p.:(
Managed to get a few Nivea deodorants which are still £1 and bogof and also noticed some L'oreal Elvive stuff that was on bogof. Most of the big 400ml bottles are £3.79 but the "Smooth-Silk Light" smoothing conditioner was £1.89 and also bogof, making them about 90p each.
I normally go for the cheapo stuff but this works out about the same price (if not better) considering they are big. Don't know if anyone has mentioned these before (probably!).
Also can I recommend "Maggi 2 minute noodles" Masala flavour? They are currently 33p and bogof so about 16.5p each, they are a great alternative to supernoodles! My guilty pleasure is instant noodles but I find the cheap ones just aren't that good. These, however, have the same sticky consistency as Supernoodles that I love!0 -
Oh, also got a polly pocket "Kerstie" figure for 40p and a Punkyfish bag for £1.50 from the reduced section.0

Hmmm, have tried the Bicarb idea, rinsed and blotted it, and have been left with a darkish mark (well darker than the carpet). Now I can't see properly to tell if it's improved or not. I've put the light on but it doesn't show it up properly like it does in daylight. So, i'll wait until the morning and have a go at it again if necessary - or just walk around in the darkness so that I can't see it....
Thanks for your help xx0 -
feel like I've dominated this thread since yesterday...but just wanted to share my good news.....thought I'd phone the lady whose car i hit last night and arrange to go and see her as I'm not convinced my car couldve caused the scratch...anyway, to cut a long story short, shes checked her car and said its only a small scratch and she has plenty of others self inflicted so is going to T-cut it instead tosave us both hassle and money!!! She said she drove it 30 miles last night home and again this morning and all seems fine so shouldnt be any further problems! Have sent her an interflora delivery as a thank you!!!
I had abandoned todays Ts trip in order to save money to pay for her repairs....but now I can go!!!!!
thanks again for everyones support and advice.....this really is a great thread!!!

Thank you xx
I have a Bicarbonate of soda book and it says the following:
Carpet cleaner
Whatever the spill, use bicarbonate of soda to soak up as much of the liquid as possible. This can then be swept up and the carpet dabbed with a mild solution of bicarbonate of soda and warm water. Allow to dry thoroughly before vacumming.
