Hey everybody, just trying to catch up a bit after 2 night shifts. Really struggled as knowing i'm pg meant I couldn't use my normal combination of red bull and diet cokes to help carry me through. Thankfully got a day off tmw to try and properly catch up on sleep/this thread/trips to Ts
Shame i'm working a 12 hour again on glitchy Tuesday. I'll be back in a few hours when I find out what i've missed

works when trying to get stains out of the lightest part of my rug
Have some Bicarb. So I mix up a little with a tiny amount of water? And then what please? After I have rubbed it into the stain should I 'rinse' it with clean water, or blot it or let it dry and vacuum it after? Argh!
Thank you. x0 -

Just doing a bit of housework (I do sometimes...) and my ds had put a blanket on the lounge floor. Just lifted it to discover a pink stain underneat hit - on my cream carpet. Have attacked it with 1001 and it's faded a bit but I don't know whether it'll come out completely no matter how many times I blot it.
I can only assume it must be blackcurrant squash or similar. I can't ask my ds as my children are with their dad today until 6pm. Honestly I could cry my eyes out. This is all I need. I've had enough !!!! lately and this is the final straw.
Please does anyone have any idea how I might get the stain out? TIA x
Obviously check somewhere inconspicuous first.
If not try some baking soda, washing up liquid is fab on stains, washing gel, or a vanish soap bar.
Make sure you dab the majority up firstMSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0 -

The stain is already dry. Think the carpet is synthetic. Will try some Bicarb when I figure out exactly what I'm supposed to do with it!

Our street had no water today so had to take Mum out for the afternoon, no football so we went to 2 T's. Silly me they don't sell clothes at quiet water but I wombled a couple of receipts & petrol things, then we went to the Vaccum Building no finds but good news the scanner is working again so you & Nikkilala will be pleased.
Nothing there either but had to go somewhere to use the toilet:ANo longer a lurker :A0 -

i rub it in really well, leave it for about 10-15 mins then rinse out with a sponge and some warm water. If its a really heavy stain i leave it on and then brush it out before rinsing itI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
