  • Celebrate,i so feel for u. I was just like u years back. Me working,my husband penniless, yet still giving away staff i bought to his family:((i was fuming. And then feeling guilty. Please try to stop feeling guilty, its not helping u. I have been through "healing" therapy /not just for this, its more complex/for 2years now, seeing a counselor, well a christian healer, and it really helped me to clear lots of my emotional turmoil. Even though u feel powerless, believe me,power is within u.
  • Where are my manners?morning all
  • Looby hope you get everything sorted xx
I had only passed my test 6 months there was a band parade and traffic was bumper to bumper and moving really slow less than 5 miles an hour the woman in front of me stopped suddenly to let someone cross the road and I went into the back of her and cracked the plastic bumper of a 10yr old car there was not one bit of damage to my car and it was only a yr old, I got out and tbh was shaking all over she had 2 passengers in the car her mum and OH they got out to see what the damage was and she told them to get back in car they had whiplash, I took a pic of bumper and rang my insurance company who told me not to worry with the speed we were doing and only a cracked bumper it wouldnt be to bad 4 months later was told they had paid out £10,436 as she and her mum had claimed personal injury I had her address and tbh it took one hell of a lot of willpower to not go up and give her 10 grands worth of damage lol My insurance jumped from £600 to £1354 and that was back in 2006
Sorry for being long winded but sometimes there are just some ppl that take things to exteme xx

Cant sleep think I must have caught caz's flu even tho she lives miles away lol

Thinking of you Looby :( At the end of last year my husband backed out the parking space and hit our neighbour's car that was half in his front garden and half in the car park. Cracked taillight and scratched bumper, our car had a couple of scratches. The plonker next door wanted to go through his insurance despite my husband admitting to the damage and offering to pay in full for the repairs. For the first time we had put a huge excess on our insurance, never had a claim before so we didnt think it would be an issue. Anyway the repair at the local garage would have taken a day and cost around £300 at most for replacing the bumper and taillight. Our bill was £800, the insurance company took a week to do the repairs and gave our neighbour a hire car for the week that we had to pay for :( We paid the bill ourselves and our insurance didn't go up this year despite the claim (it's down as a no fault accident because we paid in full ourselves) it also didn't affect our no claims discount. It might be worth paying it yourself...they take months and months to sort it out so you should have some time to save up.

Oh well hopefully another glitch will come along soon! I love a glitch that pays you to have them. Thanks for letting us know
  • Morning all.

Fudge, are the paisley sets just scanning cheap rather than cheap SEL price? They have these in my store but the SELs are pricey and I don't have a working scanner.

I got a really cute newborn 4p coat last night, sorry don't have a pic as I've already given it away, but it said AW10 and is like a tiny navy wool type double breasted pea coat/donkey jacket. Soooo cute! The lucky baby is about 5 weeks but it's still too big for him - Tescos baby clothes seem to be huuuuge.

morning all....hope today is going to be a better day for all of us!

Celebrate....dont ever feel bad or guilty about the situation...its your OH that should feel bad leaving you to provide for you and the kiddies while he provides for himself and his other kids and family....I know its not the same thing but my hubby has 3 kids with his ex wife and over the years we have paid a fair amount through the CSA...annoying as she tells the kids that he doesnt pay for anything! Our payment has gone up again last week because she has made a new claim for her other ex hubby and as we were on the old CSA system, it now has to be put onto the new system...and it works out as a higher payment! I certainly dont begrudge his kids...but they have never seen most of the money....and she has spent so long trying to 'turn' the kids against him....shes a witch!!!

Anyways, am rambling...apologies....I guess from reading a few of your posts that things are definately not great at the mo....and I think that instead of feeling upset/sad/peed off...you should think of yours and the kiddies future. Can you see this relationship turning around and being one that you want to be in? You cant change someone and trying to generally causes more problems....so do you think he will change willingly? If not, ask yourself if its fair on you and the kids to put up with this- would you be better off in a life where he doesnt have as much negative impact on you?

as Jaggymman (I think) says...there is light at the end of the tunnel...you will get there hun xxx

sending big hugs....and to everyone else that needs them today xxx
