Evening all you smutty lot :D thought i'd logged onto some dodgy !!!!!! site by mistake :rotfl:

    Happy Birthday czerniacha xx

Me having Mr T withdrawal as i haven't been for two weeks  got some things to take back tomorrow and a rather minimal food requirementdue to being well stocked on beans, heinz meals, soup and pasta :D On the lookout for some more moon dough or sand tomorrrow, going to give a set I have to my friend's little girl, but could do with another (diff - they fight) to her other daughter.

I was just pm'ing with my friend and mentioned that I often see stuff that I don't need and leave it there, such as three of the bed rails. Now if I was in a group where we swapped freely, we could all get extra stuff and then meet up once a month and do a car boot sale... swap!!

Sounds great doesn't it! We all know the prices so could swap stuff in line with what we paid! It would be cool dontcha think :T

I love the idea of a mass meet and shop...I'm thinking somewhere like the NEC would just about be big enough :rotfl: would be fab though.

Will let you know if i have any amazing finds tomorrow but since the store I'm off to is pretty carp for glitches and deals I'm not holding much hope.

ps I'm on the mulled wine already...am I in danger of peaking before xmas? :rotfl:

A Facebook group has been started and you can join by request.... the main aim of it is to allow people to post finds to others in a controlled manner without having unkown EYES watching if that makes sense....

    Dear Sunshinestar,

I can understand people's frustrations when they discover something and others dont share what they find.

Giving to the charity shop meant they could make the profit rather than a £1.08 donation from myself. They will be better from the goods than my money.

I would like to raise a slightly more controversial point. Please bear with me....

I have a job that genuinely changes peoples lives, if i discovered a cure for cancer and only shared it with my friends how would people feel.

My personal choice is to share what i can and help those i can. Fortunately i am not in the position where i struggle to put food on the table so am able to try to help. Giving £10 to charity or £10 of "glitched" items could make a huge difference to someone else.

Increasingly people are occupied by greed and as you may tell i am not like that. If people need to make income from glitches then good luck to them.

But finding something new or cheap means you get the first advantage. Whats wrong with anyone benefitting from your discovery. If we all kept our discoveries to ourselves i doubt i would be typing this via the internet and a wireless network

There are dozens and dozens of lurkers here! Tesco staff who want the glitches for themselves (including management). Tesco top brass who want to keep an eye on what goes on! The worst though IMO and by far the largest percentage are the selfish sections of society who don't have MSE accounts, read and rush out and buy stuff without so much as a thank you.

As for the second part of your post, at last someone is using their head!! Do you actually think Tesco got to be the UK's number one retailer by 'accidentally' selling hundreds and hundreds of items at 1p or 4p????

Anyone remember the 1p energy saving light bulbs at tesco? Turns out the EU legislation was due to change and Mr T would have been left with millions of these things and they contain mercury so cost heaps of money to dispose of. We SAVED tesco a fortune by being their garbage disposal people.

Agree FK. This is the point I've made in several previous posts. And just to repeat myself "there is method in some of the madness"

  • Evening all

Not had time to catch up yet due to a poorly DS, 11 yrs old and never had a sickness bug until now, been stuck in for 2 days now.

Just back from Mr T's, had to do a big shop and thought I'd try and find a few bargains too, alas nothing to be found except the Dormans and Harrys and managed to get 4 packs of the chicken strips with the half price label on them so free chicken yay my first DTD.

Have been keeping an eye on the light strike and Bakugan toys but no half price lables on, and full price on the SEL so tonight I check again and the SEL showing half price, checked with the SS and they scan correctly. Still no sign of the knives could really do with them my Sis is getting married next month and I know she would love them. Casserole dishes all still have the wrong barcode on them so full price, no sign of the Lynx, and I finally found the Babyliss mens grooming thing but scanned correctly at half price - needed it anyway for OH so got it.

Sorry nothing new to post, now just got to read up on the last 24 hours unless anyone wants to give me a brief rundown of anything I may have missed.

Think you'll find its not nikkilala,

If you want to dig, have a dig at the right person

And you're right, MSE is a great site. This thread is a great thread, great community spirit, and has helped me personally. I think you've missed the point completely.
