On the down side, I now have a breakdown of nursery fees and lets just say, my career could be about to go down the pan as rent & childcare would mean my entire salary gone each month. No money for bills, food, petrol etc etc. What a fantastic mess I've been left with. On the plus side, spent the day with my folks who have been brilliant (hello mum - I know you're reading this).
Dont dispair, have you looked into tax credits hunni???
They can pay upto 70% of nursery/childcare, as well as more dependant on your income
Take a look at entitledto.com and it gives you an idea if u can claim anything.
Pm me if you need to, been there, got through itxx

I'm on tax credits already but the problem stems from my job. Without sounding bigheaded, I earn too much to get tax credits normally (I've been on maternity most of this year so my P60 is a lot less than usual) therefore I have to pay childcare myself. I'd have to reduce my hours by more than half to get tax credits but that causes a new problem because from April 2012 you have to work 24 hours/week to get benefits so that would put me back above the threshold for WTC & CTC and therefore help with childcare.

Well I was hoping for a T free day but reaaallllllyyyyy wanted some of those gorgeous scarves so off DD and myself trotted.........and not a flamin scarf to be found, or a handbag!!!! Did manage 4 more pairs of tights for DD and there were 5 or 6 of the little boys raincoats mixed in with the AW11 stock (theyre very similar at first glance) I just took 1 as not many little boys in my life so mummy1983 and nettieg, if either of you need them theres most sizes from 9-12 months to 2-3 years
just remember its the ones with the bugs and not the aliens!! Also got some of the halloween toilet roll, sel £2.25, scanned £1 and some whoopsied veg but no cereal or flash wipes
. SS was packed so took a risk and went through a manned till, lovely chatty young girl who just looked at the tights but never said a word. So unless theres a MAJOR glitch I WILL NOT be back ther this week.........really

Quick question from a lurker - do you lot self scan all your 4p and 1p items or put them through the manned tills with a whole load of other shopping? I'm not sure whats the best tactics so i dont get the "I'm sorry we cant sell it for that price" routine.
Thanks in advance - its so friendly on here compared to the rest of the grabbit threads.
I went to a manned till, seems more honest"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
Sigh. I wanted to post an image of the socks and bag I bought, but as a new user I'm not yet allowed to post links - the only way to do images is via url from a different page so I'm guessing there's no way to do it at all for now.:(GC September 2012 - £49.04/£80 |GC October 2012 - £50.28/£80 |GC November £63.59/£60 (one adult only)0

Catching up after my day at work:Does anyone please have any info on the tiramisu for 25p? Cheers in advance.
Can you tell how excited the thought of lovely tiramisu got me? I'm getting palpitations...
Like another user said, I really, really, did not like these. Mine too went in the bin.Like Looby123 says ..dont want diet puddings... i got 4 packs and tried 1 and its horrible..threw threw the other one out,, still 3 packs in freezer!!
I agree, they were awful!I've just got back from town and am absolutely mortified!
I will never be able to go into the small Tesco's there again.....I only popped in to get some of the cheese on offer so rather than pay by card I delved into my handbag for my purse and pulled it out along with a pair of knickers I'd forgotten I had in there (Don't ask!!!):rotfl:
Well, the MALE SA looked at me and burst out laughing. He said it made him feel like Tom Jones!
I'm never going to live it down....the queue behind me were in hysterics.
Absolutely fab! Loved the pink knickers story too, sorry, can't remember your ID!The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
What you should do is when you get up put the 4 tablets in the kitchen on the side or next to the kettle. Then at least you know they're for that day, even if you don't take them at quite the right time at least you'll get the right amount everyday;) And then when you take a tablet do the drops.
So take your tablet now and stick the other two on the side:):)
Or a chart on the fridge which you tick off when you take the tablet
