Went to 2 stores tonight
got 2 tangled bluray/dvds(20gbp each!!!:eek:) and brightstars mat(6.50/12.95) in the first one on dtd :j the CS lady tried to give me dtd on the baby mat and jtd on the dvds "because the offer is not on the system yet" :rotfl:I said I've been overcharged and it's not my fault something isn't on the system... got my dtd...
when I went there she tried to send me over to electrical desk "because otherwise they won't know it's not working" but then she just went to tell them... while waiting a guy started chatting to me and asking if there are Ts in my home country :eek: I didn't say a single word before he said that...
so when the lady returned and talked on the phone he said "well, you gonna get all your money back aren't you?" so I said pointing at the blue board "yes I think so, they have dtd policy" :rotfl:and so the CS lady was forced to mention dtd to her manager otherwise I'm sure I'd have to argue more...

In the second store I went to look for the 4p bargains but the scanner wasn't working! :mad::mad::mad: (osterl*y!!!) so the sa offered to scan them for me and at some point a mens skirt with a tie "had to be sent back" :mad: didn't bother anymore... but got the pink raincoat for 4p didn't ask the sa to scan it as I knew the price :cool:
so no pretty scarves for me well done on your nikki :T was it old Y?
anyway in the second store I got lots of woopsies for first time really... :T some nice veg and fruit... :T shame the meat&chilled was almost all gone...
I was going to try for another dtd on brightstars item but it was past 9pm so I didn't bother... I will soon have everything I need for a baby so I need to seriously start thinking about a BABY to go with it... :eek: (I'd give it all away but taking into account that I probably will have a baby in about 5 years or so it would be a shame to have to pay full price for all those then so I will just keep them and only give away the spare ones... )

Wondering already if bf will let me go to T tomorrow evening too...? :cool: Probably not if he gets a dinner like today - uncle bens risotto! :rotfl: with some chicken from last night... So I better think of something nice to cook tomorrow...

Just a quick update. There are still stickered Bakguan doing the rounds DTD no probs.

Got some whoopsie mince and whoopsie tatties...guess what's for supper tomorrow :rotfl:

4p muppet socks, bloody shocking pink though.

And another corker :doh: seriously Mr T how can you get it so wrong...offer on both at the extra store and metro that I visited.


Tesco cola and diet cola 8 pack. 1 pack = £1.99 or 2 for £1.50 so that's about 10p per can when buy 16 (the offer).

Rainforest in my pocket is in a bag type packet (not a box), that has a jungle leaf design on it, they have about 4 of the animals in and is normally £6.97. The ones I got had ducks in one pack and some kind of orange monkey's in the other, think op said he got pandas or something black & white.

In my local they are with the Puppy in my pocket, Sylvainian families & Little pet shop toys.

Quick question from a lurker - do you lot self scan all your 4p and 1p items or put them through the manned tills with a whole load of other shopping? I'm not sure whats the best tactics so i dont get the "I'm sorry we cant sell it for that price" routine.

That would be great feel i will do the same if i find them on my travels. Nothing much to be had in our local store at the mo was hoping for the trays but they are not there. thought i had struck gold today found 2 scarfs when i took them to pay on ss they come up at 4p but trout on ss tills said i could not have them and took them off me, i did go back a few hours later to see if they had been put back on shelf but they had not and could not find anymore with ss on lable so prob out of luck there if you find anything let me know and i will do the same.
