Think you're right czerniacha but tbh I'm not bothered about getting DTD, I would have been over the moon (and still would be) to have got it for £19.99, I was getting it for a present. It just really irks me that I feel they have treated me like I'm stupid by telling me that the SEL was for a different product when it clearly wasn't

Oh I think you should definitely keep chasing them for that! Uncle Phil should be informed about it ;)

When I got the wii one with 19.99 sel today 3 people checked the barcode and description matched  I was really confident(thanks to you lot!:T) and all 3 agree there was nothing they could pick on! I acted like it SHOULD be 19.99 and they are charging silly prices!
PS. You asked earlier: the description had the word "hardware" in it I think... and wii/ps3/xbox360 bundle iirc
  • Evening all, nice shiny new thread we have here :D:D

Well I was hoping that my clothes order would be in for me to go collect today, but it wasn't so I had no excuses for going to T's when I finished work :( Ah well, a wee break will probably do us some good ;) :rotfl:

Congrats to everyone on the bargains they have had in the last couple of days, I'm very jealous :rotfl:. I'll be having a good rumage on Monday when I go to make up for it :D

Just read your post Deb40 and read the bit about the gift for the teacher. Me and my OH have done this for years and then we get a letter from the school asking us to stop sending gift's "due to the current credit crisis we are discouraging the giving of gifts to school staff, however a donation to charity would be appreciated" and then it says its Ok to send a card. I know we are all in hard times but a pressie to the teacher? cmon :p

Just got back from Ff@r@stf@ach extra, got 4 leaf trays ( left 4 on shelf) for 1p each. Used SS till and my son said loudly as I scanned them 'wow they are only 1p that is a bargain' - there was a policeman buying his supper on the next till.:eek::eek: Needless to say he completely ignored us as did the staff. :T:T:T
They didn't have any dressing gowns, etc. Couldn't even see any mince pies with custard there.
I did get gifts for son's teachers - memo block (50p) and set of pens to match (75p) in pink paisley print.;)

Has anyone in South Wales found the Barbie teaset??

dont you just love kids when they spout out the obvious :rotfl:

i have had to tell mine a few times to zip it :D
  • Last question - off topic. What hotel was it that had the Disney Cars theme?[/QUOTE]

I posted on the grabbit board last week about a 50% flash sale! That's finished now but..... DLP are still doing some 40% and 30% offers, worth sneaking a peek!!
The cars Theme isn't actually "cars, the movie" more 60's disco rock theme, called The Santa Fe. Don't want to put you off, but, this hotel is really quite basic, and not the best with small children (speaking from experience lol!). The best one we ever stayed at, and we have stayed at most (except the pink palace, Way too expensive:eek:, that is next on my list, when tesco have saved me loads of money;) lol!!!) would be the New york Hotel. Walking distance to the park even with small kiddies, has a lovely warm sauna/swimming pool and outdoor pool and for the winter months have hot breakfasts!
I hope you don't mind me interupting your conversation, sorry:o!
    Hope this has helped somewhat

    Hi bargainhustler......

If you are keeping check on this thread whilst at Lakeside, could you have a look to see if they have any Chuggingtons in stock there please? I am desperately trying to get one of these for my little girl and have been just about everywhere else :)

    TIA :)

No Chuggingtons in Lakeside at lunchtime today. SEL showed £1.75, but shelf was empty.
