Mini Toad in the hole (12 pkt) should be £2.00 or 3 for £5, scanning at 57p. In the frozen party food section, tried some of the others but scanned at full price, HTH

This is my local, I live next to Cassiobury Park :j. Just so you know for future use, there is a scanner near the toys. It is down the isle where the Halloween things were, just before the household and soft furnishings etc. There is another in the store but it never seems to be working. HTH.

Thanks, any bargains to be had!? I'm only over there a couple of times a year but may go more if it's worth my while;)!!

No, my DTD (or not as it stands at present) was a different store but the store you mentioned were definitely on the ball with the 4p items :(

Winjackie, I don't think you will get dtd now, it would be a true miracle(Leenie??LOL) if they let you have the dj hero and handed out 40 quid as well... I think you might get a giftcard(10-20 quid?) as a goodwill gesture for your trouble... If you're very lucky maybe a free dj hero 2 but surely not the dtd deal it would be if you didn't agree on the refund in the first place... :( sorry hun...

Hope you get it sorted anyway :)

I knew there were MSEs going to the W8tford Extra as there were very obvious gaps on the shelves when the toys were going cheap. I have not found many bargains but I do only look for things that I need (rather than things I want/would like). My husband did get some of the 4p clothes though. He did not realise until he got home and looked at the reciept (I think they were tshirts but not sure). Neither of us have been back to check for more though.

Happy shopping and I look forward to finding out what bargains you managed to pick up :T

Not me, i've never been before it was meant to be my "treat" for going out on the trains today (OH and LO are both train enthusiasts) and we never made it as didnt get back to Watford till 7.30!

Now I know for sure there are other MSEs going there I will try to take note of the bargains that are mentioned even if I am not getting them myself.

Ok can I ask a couple of questions please?

Frootz - buying 6 single packs at 43/44p get 2 discounts namely 3for£1 and 3for2 bakery so for every 3 bought you only pay 18p approx.

The thing is in my local, the SEL for the big 5 pack boxes is 2 for £3.50 or £2.09 each. Does anyone know if the big boxes glitch with the 342 as well as 2for£3.50? That would make 6 boxes (30 packs) for £2.14 or 7p a pack. Much better than the singles if it works.

The flash wipes. I've read they should be 72s in lemon in a red pack but what kind of wipes are they? Kitchen/bathroom/??

Last question - off topic. What hotel was it that had the Disney Cars theme?
