PMSL, I am not the only one who searches bargains in there by a long shot! The staff are also well clued up too and many items never see the shelves!
There is stuff to be had though, but this current line of bargains now seems thin on the ground everywhere.0 -

Have I tarnished my reputation now....I promise I have never bought these items ....well not from Tesco's (apart from the cucumbers on b1g1f lol) ... and also never all at the same time lolloves a good glitch :j0 -
I think thats a little harsh to the op. They only did what everyone else is doing. They wanted gifts for presents and bingo.
I get more annoyed with people that buy things and dont need them, like the knife set someone mentioned a few days ago that they got but didnt have a use for. Why not leave them for someone who wants them.
If peeps are going to make comments like that then should we start keeping our finds to ourselves?
I know some of the ones i have found have been highly profitable, not just free, the salter scales for instance. I could have done a tour of a few shops and been quids in, but i got what i needed, hence i found the error, then let everyone know about it, who in turn went on the hunt. Isnt that whats it about, helping one another? Not making people feel bad for getting the deal?
Just my thoughts.
I think you missed my point. It was not the fact that dtd was given, or the fact that the person tried for the dtd, after all who wouldn't. My point was purely that if Mr T's sees lots of dtd like this taking place they most likely will drop the scheme. Small amounts will not be so noticable but when it racks into the hundreds then questions will get asked. Just my opinion and no offence was meant to the OP.Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

All points were taken. Maybe in the future we should try to educate rather than chastise. It would be a lot nicer to point out to op, the error of their ways and how best to go about dtd.
I think they have just drawn a lot of attention to themselves and wouldnt be surprised if they are followed in store next time, and there is no way on earth i would be so rude as to suggest training. No matter what im screaming inside, im always polite and smile:)
I got one of these for my son and know my nephew would like one but took into account the value and it was mixed with my shopping for the week too, wouldnt risk two at that price. Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -

Hi all,
I found this thread by accident a few days ago and have been trying to keep up! Thanks to all who have been posting their finds. I fear that I may be sucked into the Mr Ts vortex once again..... DH was quite relieved when DTD finished as he hardly ever saw me!
Been out on a nice relaxing child free jaunt this morn.... first shop, managed to get my first 4p items 4 x lounge pants/shorts (the sculls and aliens ones) there were more on display but all in xxxl. SA on SS noticed the price as she was taking tags off and pretty much congratulated me!
Second shop, i went further afield knowing this one had SS, however the have all been removedWas exctied to find the zubber charms/toppers as these would have been great for DD1, but they scanned at 3:50. The relax airbed with pump also scanned at full price. However, Got a couple of the 75p tents
Third shop found 2 of the light strikers one with a sticker on and one without. Want this for friends Son's Christmas Pressie so I Bought the stickered one and went up to CS... I have had DTD at this store a couple of times with no probs before but have always had to ask for it. CS was about to put £30 back on my card when I asked about DTD... she said it doesnt apply to this as they are in the process of removing stickers.... I replied that didnt make sense and that I was overcharged and the policy is DTD. She wouldnt budge and I didnt have time to wait for manager as I had to pick up DD2 from nursery. What is the best course of action? Should I call or email HO?
Thanks in advance xx0
