hi elite!
just took me 2 hours to catch up with you from 11pm last night!
got plenty of sleep today and got the flat all sorted so I think I might fancy a little trip on my bike to mr T as I need some bits and pieces...And tonight I'm getting bf's car to go to a bigger T to look for some bargains... :j
wishing you all a lovely day! :A
PS. QPRanger: maybe you could put the HO phone numbers on the first page? 0800505555 and 013828227000 -
Got the Bakugan Brawlers today, had to ask for DTD but got it then without too much fuss.
I can't believe there are 4p bags out there, dare I ask are they tagged?sunshinestar101 wrote: »Are you sure on this French.. its just i get the impression from the e-mail that QPR posted from Phillip Clarke that its just the discounted price that you get back..... ?? Oh I dunno. lol
And i think its just me that they dont like in there.... i admit, since the security guard said all that to me before regaring if my bump was real etc.. i havent really cared what they thought and kinda gone a bit 'wild in the isles' there... but im not actually doing anything wrong..... just looking for glitches... In fact i think this was the 2nd DTD i have had since it opened....... think the lady on CS is just a snotty nosed cow tbh and i know that there have been complaints about her before...... also, noticed that the security guard that mentioned my bump, also works in the other store i visited today....... haha.....
i think i just give off the wrong impression..... sometimes i have been in there, not looking my best, (bad hair day, baby sick on jumper, son with chocolate around their face.) - from the outside, to people, i must sometimes look terrible...!!! - but thats only when im popping in, for baby wipes, TCO, or something else essential. lol.
They have to give you back the amount that the item currently scans at ...so if itsnow reduced on their system, you will only get the reduced price...if its still the original price, you'll get that...hth.....and although I'm fully on your side...when you say youre not doing anything wrong only looking for glitches...I had this same arguement in Ts and they said it was wrong of me to actively look for glitches/price errors or DTD..and banned me! After your unfortunate episode with the horrible security guard I would hate this to happen to you! However,I do think that as he accused you of having a fake baby bump, once baby is born, you should go to the same store, but leave baby with the OH and put a doll in the pushchair!! Then show him your fake baby and make him feel even more stupid...but also make him think you're a bit doolally as well!!!

but until then...its Tescolight choices 2 Tiramisu desserts not the gateaux thing.....its in a small rectangle box (about 4 x 8 inches) with a red £1 sticker on...SEL is £1 too...they were in the freezer section with the gateaux/desserts etc...barcode is 5052319342932hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
The other half has started trying to come up with a new song. Changing the 12 days of christmas to a version appropriate for Tesco. Not sure how far he'll get, but me thinks he's hooked.......that is until he realises we've run out of cupboard space.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

Only get to check every now & then thru the day but I had to reply to the post quoted...
1st of all I visited the mentioned stores as I was within a couple of mins of where I was when doing my job as I work mobile.
2nd I had hadnt cleared any shelves of the 2 toys in question in any of the stores. There was still stock remaining on the shelves after I purchased.
3rd All that I got WILL be going as pressies to close family.
Just wanted to point that out, If I was that way inclined I could of pulled a sickie and done exactly what you stated and visited all the Mr T's I know(and thats alot) and cleared them, but I didnt..0 -

Please don't let this start a fight. I think sometimes there is a concern that people are taking the p*ss which will result in all of us loosing out. This was highlighted by the amount of cheap toys that ended up on ebay recently. Many have encountered people with trolleys full of bargains. I myself saw a white van being loaded up with the beans and tomatoes on offer last week. !!!!!! who needs a van full, unless they are intending to resell for a profit.
I think generally it is accepted that you have done this with good intentions in mind i.e. buying gifts for friends and family.Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -
I might be wrong but I seem to remember it was weight watchers or T's light choice in the frozen cabinet=

my advice .... just be a little more subtle about it. Won't take long for HO to pinpoint all the DTD came from the same area within a short time of each other and that only 1 or 2 items were purchased. What will probably happen is that they will clamp down on those stores even more. Add some normal shopping just to distract the SA, even better embarass them by bulk buying condoms and KY Jelly :rotfl:maybe a cucumber or two or threeloves a good glitch :j0 -
 RIP DTD, don't think Tesco will be happy to take too many hits like this.
I think thats a little harsh to the op. They only did what everyone else is doing. They wanted gifts for presents and bingo.
I get more annoyed with people that buy things and dont need them, like the knife set someone mentioned a few days ago that they got but didnt have a use for. Why not leave them for someone who wants them.
If peeps are going to make comments like that then should we start keeping our finds to ourselves?
I know some of the ones i have found have been highly profitable, not just free, the salter scales for instance. I could have done a tour of a few shops and been quids in, but i got what i needed, hence i found the error, then let everyone know about it, who in turn went on the hunt. Isnt that whats it about, helping one another? Not making people feel bad for getting the deal?
Just my thoughts. Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
