quick question about our xbox 360

We bought our boys last christmas, and they subscribed to xbox live, everything great up until a few weeks ago, it will connect but will not update, so it will not connect to the internet even with the internet wires connected.

any suggestions?

Does it connect to the internet,you say it does then it doesnt?

try rebooting the modem and router,
turn both off and wait a minuet
turn the modem on and wait for it to boot
then turn the router on and wait for that to boot
then try the xbox again (if the modem and router are the same then just turn it off wait a minuet and turn it back on again)

Have you done a network test to see where the fault is, might give some idea.
