hi ,last year i bought claire sweeneys weight watchers fitness dvd, i enjoyed that one, i found it easy to follow.bit boring though as no music.i also bought charlie brooks(janine from eastenders) dvd and i was knackered after doing the warm up, i found that one quite difficult.
is the vicky entwhistle dvd as good as all of the magazines and papers say.i think it is the best selling fitness dvd at the minute.i wouldnt mind trying it but i dont know anyone who has tried it.i prefer aerobics style ones where you dance about to pop music.:T0 -
The Vicky Entwhistle gets high praise. Its more areobic than some of the other fitness videos.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

I like the Rosemary Conley ones. In fact, I've recently invested in a triple box set:
http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/681265/Rosemary_Conley_Fitness_Triple_Pack/Product.html
However, if you want just one DVD then I recommend the Rosemary Conley Ultimate Whole Body Workout (which is in the triple pack):

I've got both of the Davina exercise DVD's and prefer the first one 'The Power of 3'. If you want a workout that is going to push you, and see results then this is for you. I found the other one (3 30 minute workouts) left me feeling like I hadnt done much - but I guess if you're in a hurry then its better than not doing anything.
Another one I've got is Beverley Callards Rapid Results - it's an oldie now, but still a fave of mine - especially for the whole body toning.0 -
Hi,
yes i love vickys it does make u sweat, and you can feel it in your legs, well we did, but we are 50 & 52 we do it about 3 or 4 times a wk just ordered the davina power of three, i aslso have beverly callards and all are very good and also rosmarys but they are all on tapes so it means me having to get the vid player out which puts me off need them on dvd realy but i dont think they do them in dvd. shame!!! but cant wait to try davina out as well so i have got a change, will let you no how i get on with it! As anyone heard if vicky had lipo suction like jade did. Someone did tell me it took her 7mths and not 3 plus she had a personal trainer,??

Try Billy Blanks Tae-bo collection......you'll get the results. But remember. NO SWEAT NO GAIN!!!!!!!!Making money make sense...........:T0

Try amazon for reviews of the exercise dvds. Personally, I quite like charlie Brooks, Angela griffin and Tracy Shaw ones as they are more dancey and don't feel too much like exercise. I find davina and Rosemary Conley too repetitive and got bored very quickly with them. another good one if you like to dance is The Hotpants workout.0

Another thumbs up for beverley callard, rapid results and only £3.99 at play

It really makes you feel that you have had a good all over workout and it is really easy to follow.
I didn't like charlie brooks, silly little dance movements which you need to keep up with.
I have davina boxset £12.89
http://www.sendit.com/video/item/7001000128172
so far I have done the first 2 workouts on the power of 3 and think they are good although not enough abs exercises for me and my jelly belly....but really love the 2nd boxercise one, great for releasing any tension.
Another oldie Cindy Crawford- shape your body £4.49
http://www.choicesuk.com/product.aspx/!677435?cm_ven=A_Window&cm_cat=DVD&cm_pla=AFF&cm_ite=Feed
I can gaurantee you will feel it after you have done this and they are only very short workouts.
I have just bought the rosemary conley triple pack, it seems ok as I'm only just starting out not sure it is any good for the more advanced.
I also have Nell McAndrew ultimate challenge £4.99
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=R2&title=488936&P36=4VT2S3
I haven't tried this yet as I don't feel fit enough but this is highly rated on amazon etc.
I also enjoy Micah Bo, bum and tums, but it is hard work, I like him and find him very motivating but also very cheesy. £3.75
http://www.foxy.co.uk/catalogue/dvd/67616/Micah%20Bo%20-%20Bums%20And%20Tums/
I have tried Penny lancaster hot legs, quite good but a bit too long, I think 45 mins is enough if done 3-4 times a week, this is about an hour.
Use this site for the best prices
http://www.find-dvd.co.uk/search.asp
or look on ebay or if you are a member of a dvd rental service you can always try before you buy.....but I would choose Beverley Callard if i could only have one....0
