www.buymobilephones.net - anyone used em?

Options
Hi
I've never had a contract phone, so am clueless on this. I have always been PAYG.

http://www.buymobilephones.net/store/merchant.ihtml?pid=327&lastcatid=9&step=4&pn=Phones

I am looking at the Orange Dolphin £35 deal with 9 months free line rental. On this 12 month deal, I appreciate that I have, as a minimum, to pay 3 months line rental at £35. But what happens then when I want to cancel? Do I just give them the phone back? What if it is marked and so on? How do these things work?

Have you looked at the price on orange.co.uk for a similar deal.

You will have to pay 12 months @ £35 and then claim back the 9 months over different stages (click on the 9 months free bit).
After 12 months when you cancel with 30 days notice the phone is yours to keep.

Remember you can get £20 cashback through Quidco for taking out a contract with them!
  • I've heard a few bad things about them lately, be careful as its a lot of money to lose if they go under/ don't pay you...

Look on the Boots website - they have good contract deals where you get more money back in Advantage Card points than that which you pay in.

I have used BMP twice now. No problems, they e-mail you to confirm the cashback has gone through and it goes straight into your account via BACS.

Are you sure its a 12 month contract? Most of Orange's are now...

I'm going to get the Dolphin contract with them, but via Carphone Warehouse.

The phone I want (K800i), for £35/month with 13 months 1/2 price line rental, data download package, 500 minutes and 500 texts.

  • I had a contract from buymobilephone.net, had to claim cashback every 3 mths, by sending them my bills, and they would send me back a cheque. Never had any problems with them at all

I have just come to the end of a free 12 month's line rental deal. I got the full 12 months back. So on that basis I would recommend them.
