Is it standard procedure to let your credit card provider know of a change of situation, ie. Change of job with a higher/less salary?

No. They don't care as long as you keep paying on time.0

I would think the same goes for a salary increase; you may become eligible for a limit increase if you're eligible, need it and are not overcommitted elsewhere.0 -
As long as you pay, they don't really care. How many people do you think would phone their CC issuer if their salary reduces ? The last thing they need is for their limit to be reduced.0

I'm sure that when you apply for anything your salary details are record on one of the fraud databases, not for fraud as such but to make sure you are telling everyone the same. So in theory, when your salary increased, and you make a new application and existing leader "should" be able to see this....If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...:think:0
