Someone this evening has stolen my set of £14 wheel trims off my car while parked outside my house.
I don't believe it!

Blimey low life's have ladders now, must have been an extender to reach up from under that stone.
Cable tie 'em on next time, low life's cutters shoplifted from the pound shop won't cut through good ones.0 -
Doesnt surprise me.

If you want to replace them, they're on offer at Aldi on Sunday - £10 a set0

Just an update...
I spotted my wheel trims on a car parked up down a back street locally.
99% sure they are mine. Same scuff on one of them.
Black wheel trims that I got off eBay nearly 2 years ago. I've never seen anyone else with the same ones since until now. Bit of a coincidence!0 -
Go nick them back then.0

^^ This, if they're unusual, then odds on they're yours.
Bet the thieves have cable tied them down

Yep I noticed they were cable tied as I walked passed!
I've got the urge to go round one night and just take one off as I don't really want to hang around and get caught. Least if they are missing one it will "spoil" the set.

I wouldn't think someone who is local would steal your wheel trims and put them on their car who only lives up the road, as they'd be easily caught!
Besides the owner of that car may have got your wheeltrims from someone else who took yours and sold it to them down the pub, or the thief may have just took them for a laugh and chucked them in the owner of that car's back garden?
Also if you cable your tie your new ones, ensure you keep a cutter in your car, otherwise you'd have trouble getting them off if you need to change your wheel when you get a puncture!0
