I had these until I lost them...

They were really good, much better than my sennheisers and as good as the sound magic headphones I used to have, in fact they were a bit better than the sound magic ones.

It's worth considering what type of music you'll be listening to, as if the files you are using aren't high quality, good IEM's will make them sound terrible; if you listen to average music, go for some Shure SE215 or 115; if you listen to high quality music go for the Shure 315's (they're £20 over budget).

    Having said that

Sound Magic actually have some new IEM's out [url=http://www.inearmatters.net/2011/06/review-soundmagic-e10-e30-eh11-and-p30.html[/url] the e30 would be the best one for you as it's over ear; the e10 is not.

Alternatively, the sound magic pl50's get an exceptional review from what hifi....

For something at the upper end of your price limit, these Phonak 012 headphones seem to get recommendations form audiophiles, however, I don't believe they come with the over ear guides, the honak Audeo 122's do, but are app £20 over your budget.

I've just spent bloody ages reading headphone reviews for this post... I now want to replace the UE earphones that I lost.

p.s. this website has a very handy forum, it's swarming with audiophiles

  • Pop some extra cash towards them and get some sennheisser HD25's

If you want something with a lower price rainge and wireless. We just got these and are very pleased with them. I don't profess to be a perfectionist, but they sounded pretty good to me and DH. DG
