in Credit cards
We are told to ditch cheques and use e-banking so why does it take up to 4 business days for me to pay my credit card bill from my current account when its with the same company? a cheque takes 3 days to clear.
Will e-banking ever be quicker? it should be instant or at least 1 day max.

take its halifax, they do the same. rbs does it the same dayDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

The new directive coming into force this month will make it obligatory that payments will have to be made within 24 hours.
To make this happen some banks will not let you set up new standing orders to any account that is not faster payment compliant.0 -
